1972 Seiko calculator Chronograph automatic 6138-7000

Seiko Calculator oversize automatic Chronograph from February 1972.

This Seiko 6138 - 7000 calculator example for sale here isn’t seen very often, and it’s definitely high on the “rare” scale for 6138 variants, with its slide rule bezel and indicator, akin to contemporary Breitling Navitimers.

It features a double external bezel, one fixed and one mobile to perform calculations and to set cursor position.

Original Seiko-signed flat black dial, with sunken subdials, some spots on there.  Hour markers were relumed in a very nice original tone. Original hands – while the chronograph hands were repainted to a pleasant off-yellow. Bezel in perfect condition, runs super smooth.

New aftermarket clear plastic cursor indicator. Original Seiko bracelet in good condition.

Sporty 70s style watch. Very effective presence due its size color and details.
