1973 Breitling Bullhead Pupitre Chronograph Ref 7101
All original Breitling Pupitre „Pult“ Chronograph from 1973 in perfect condition. Very little signs of wear, some minor scratches on crystal.
Beautiful graphic dial with bright orange handset. Inner tachymeter bezel and date. Outer two coloured rotating bezel. Fitted with black original Tropic rubber band from that period.
The so called Bullhead cases are usually larger and thicker than the average chronographs. Most of the time their cases are not even-shaped, meaning that the top of it where the pushers and the crown is located is wider and thicker and the bottom of the case is thinner. This way the dial is tilted towards 6 o’clock. This allows the user to check the time on the watch much more easily hence the oddity of the case. They are particularly special for no reason other than in most cases they were produced in relatively small numbers.
Breitling has been a leading innovator in high quality stopwatches and chronographs and helped define how chronographs look and function until today.
Shrill eye catching Breitling Chronograph with its size, color, history, function and condition.
